Ibrahim Kodra was born on the 22nd of April 1918, in Albania he then passed away on the 7th February 2006 in Milan.
Ibrahim Kodra is the most well-known Albanian painter in Albania. In 1938 he immigrated to Italy to study Fine Arts at an Italian University where he won a scholarship from the government for being an emerging talent.
In 1944 he opened a work shop in Milan where he could expand his talent and produce more paintings.
He got the privilege to meet Pablo Picasso at a personal and group exposition in Milan at the 'Art Club'. He was well known for cubism.
